Upon Arrival

When you arrive at Oakvale Family Centre, we will first meet with you to explain what to expect during your 12-week orientation and assessment. Together, we will set clear objectives for your stay and make sure you understand how these will be worked towards.

For many parents, this first meeting helps to ease worries and provide clarity at a time when there can be lots of uncertainty.

Hazel – Service Director

Hello, my name is Hazel, and I am the Founder, Registered Manager, and Nominated Individual of Oakevale Healthcare Ltd.

Hazel qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2003 and has maintained active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) ever since. Over the years, she has worked across hospitals, community services, and agency nursing, gaining extensive experience in medical, surgical, elderly, and complex care.

Even while managing services, Hazel continued practising as a nurse, ensuring her clinical expertise remained strong and up to date….

Providing A Safe Environment for You & Your Children

We are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for you and your child/children.

During your stay, you will have the opportunity to care for, bond with, and nurture your child/children while we guide and advise you on achieving your set objectives.

If you have questions, concerns, or just want to talk about anything related to your stay, please know that our team is always here to listen and support you.

Ongoing Support & Communication

Throughout your 12-week orientation and assessment, our findings, observations, and feedback will be shared openly with both you and your social worker. Everything we do is focused on building an open and positive environment centred on you and your child/children. At regular review meetings, you will be invited to share your views, feedback, and any concerns so that we can work together constructively.
